The role of the company secretary is changing
With the statutory need for most organisations to appoint to the position gone, many companies are taking the opportunity to redistribute corporate governance tasks to other parts of the organisation. To survive company secretaries must redefine themselves and demonstrate value. By doing just that and allowing clients to work with me as much or as little as they choose, I believe I can deliver savings for organisations way beyond my fees.
I’m Martin Lewis, the owner of valleyvale compliance services. I’ve over ten years experience of working as an appointed company secretary and have worked with dozens of organisations in a variety of sectors over that period. I’ve a personal ambition to drive up standards of corporate governance in all organisations I work with, unlocking their potential to pursue business excellence and growth. I’ve also developed a passion for data security and I help businesses respond to the public’s appetite for personal data to be respected.
I could go on to explain in detail my background and professional qualifications, but if you’d like to know more may I suggest you link with me on Linkedin, or send me an email and I’ll gladly send you a copy of my CV.
I hope you enjoy looking around my website and if you have time, why not offer me some feedback?
